Volunteer or apply for an internship with us
Become a volunteer:
TechnoServe has a Volunteer Consultant programme which engages select business professionals for 3 to 12 month long projects, generally based in the developing world. Volunteer Consultants typically (but not exclusively) have at least three years of full-time business experience, which includes a minimum of two years at a top-tier management consulting firm. Their projects vary, but they often work with entrepreneurs, government officials and others to create business plans, develop policy recommendations, craft industry strategies, or implement business plan competitions.
The process for becoming a Volunteer Consultant is highly selective and is run centrally through our global head quarters in Washington. Please visit this section our global site to apply.
Internship:
TechnoServe South Africa also offers an internship programme for candidates with business or agriculture qualifications who are looking to gain experience in local economic development. Interested candidates can contact us at
